Tom Williams - Hudson, Claverack NYTom is a seasoned marketing and communications professional utilizing his expertise with numerous clients in upstate New York and throughout the northeast. Tom provided successful marketing solutions for the automotive industry both regionally and nationally with the business he formed in 1994, Network Marketing. In 2015 he began a new venture, Paradox Consulting Group, which has a strong upstate and north-country emphasis focusing on business development, strategic planning, website design, tourism and public relations.

Tom leverages over 30 years experience helping various clients to be more successful by building customer loyalty and retention. He is a strong believer in “business partnering” and “co-marketing”. His company values define his approach to success…”Less is More”. Tom has taken this business perspective to regional clients as well as global manufacturers, including Mercedes-Benz, Toyota and Mazda.

In addition to the automotive market, Tom helped develop several campaigns for the Columbia County Tourism Department, including identity posters which were installed in Metro-North train stations to help increase awareness for Tourism in Columbia County. Tom also serves on the Town of Claverack Economic Development Committee and is a member of both the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce and the Columbia County Economic Development Corporation.

Tom’s business and personal values were forged by his family. His entrepreneurial drive and ability to understand and relate to the small business owner comes from his grandfather and father, both of whom ran successful businesses. Tom, a former licensed guide, is very active in sportsmen’s issues in New York State and currently serves on the NYS DEC Conservation Fund Advisory Board representing Region 4 which includes both Columbia and Greene County.

In his free time, Tom can be found hunting, fishing or snowmobiling at his camp on the West Canada Creek, or at his farm in Paradox. He and his wife Karen volunteer for Wounded Warrior Project events hosted by the Adaptive Sports Foundation in Windham, NY.
